A Decade of Seasonal Visual Stories, Built Around the Music and the Moment.

For more than ten years, Harriman-Jewell Series has trusted a single creative partner to shape the visual voice of each new season. Since 2015, every season has started with a fresh look, built from the ground up around that year’s performers, the cultural temperature of the city, and the broader creative moment we are all living in. Each season is treated as its own chapter. The goal is not repetition, but progression. Every theme responds to what came before it, creating contrast, energy, and a sense of renewal. The result is a visual system that feels timely and inspired, while staying grounded in the role it serves. Supporting the artists, setting the tone, and inviting the audience in.

Creating a Unifying Visual Theme Each Year Without Competing With the Performance.

Each season’s creative direction begins with listening. The performers, the music, the mood of the city, and the wider cultural conversation all shape the visual approach. From there, a single theme emerges that can flex across a 24-page large-format season magazine, performer-focused signage, and a full set of supporting materials like calendars, programs, and social content. The design work is intentional and expressive, but never louder than the art itself. Graphics are meant to spark curiosity and set atmosphere, not steal focus. Every element works together as a quiet frame for the performances, allowing the artists to remain at the center while the visuals do what they are meant to do. Create anticipation, coherence, and a sense that this season matters.
